Schecter J-4 Exotic
The Schecter J-4 Exotic is at the same time traditional and spectacular, reduced and modern. The familiar design language of the J-bass has been given a new bold zebrawood veneer and the microphones are EMG's new MetalWorks series with two-zone EMG active EQ. The roasted maple neck, supported by a double-action neck iron and carbon fiber reinforcements, is shaped like a thin C-profile and there are 21 narrow X-jumbo frets. The scale is 34" long and the radius of the fingerboard is quite straight 16", so it is a modern and sufficiently technical bass for even more demanding patterns.
The frame wood is swamp ash and all the metal parts are black. The deck has a Schecter High Mass, which can be used either with strings through the body or as a top-load, whichever you prefer.
