Ibanez RG5EX1 (used)

The Ibanez RG5EX1 is a sleek and aggressive RG series electric guitar, originally introduced in 2006 and built in Indonesia. Designed with fast playability and modern tones in mind, this model delivers the performance and feel that the RG line is known for.

The guitar features a lightweight basswood body paired with a bolt-on maple neck and a matching reverse headstock. The 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with striking black pearloid sharktooth inlays offers smooth playability and a distinctive look. Equipped with Ibanez Infinity pickups, the RG5EX1 provides a versatile range of tones suitable for rock and metal. Additional features include a locking nut and an Edge III double-locking tremolo bridge, allowing for expressive playing while maintaining solid tuning stability.

This model was originally sold exclusively through Guitar Center in the United States and was discontinued after 2010, making it a slightly less common RG variant.

This particular guitar has seen a lot. It's headstock has been broken and glued together professionally. Guitar's body shows some dings from gigging.

Cosmetics and repairs aside, this guitar is in full working order. It has been properly set up and plays great with no issues.
